YƐNKO (“we”, “us”, “our”) provides ride-hailing services to passengers and drivers through our web and mobile experiences.

  • Account data: name, email, phone, password hash, user type.
  • Profile & verification: driver license details, vehicle info, documents you upload.
  • Trip data: pickup/dropoff locations, timestamps, fare, payment method, trip status.
  • Device/usage: browser type, IP address, pages viewed, cookies, logs for security and performance.
  • Communications: support inquiries, feedback, and notifications we send to you.

3) How we use data

  • Provide and improve ride bookings, routing, pricing, and in-app features.
  • Authenticate users, prevent fraud, and enforce platform safety rules.
  • Process payments, invoices, and driver payouts.
  • Send trip updates, support messages, and (with consent) marketing communications.
  • Comply with legal obligations and respond to lawful requests.

4) Legal bases

We process data under contract necessity (to deliver rides and payouts), legitimate interests (service improvement, fraud prevention), legal obligations, and consent where required (marketing cookies/communications).

5) Sharing data

  • Drivers & passengers: limited trip details shared to fulfill a booking (e.g., names, pickup info).
  • Service providers: hosting, analytics, communications, and payment partners under confidentiality and security obligations.
  • Legal/safety: authorities or third parties when required by law or to protect rights, safety, and property.

6) Retention

We keep data as long as needed for the purposes above, including records required for legal, tax, and safety obligations. When no longer needed, we delete or anonymize data.

7) Security

We use encryption in transit (HTTPS), access controls, and server logging. No system is fully secure; please keep your credentials safe and report suspicious activity.

8) Your rights and choices

  • Access, correct, or update your account data.
  • Delete your account (subject to legal/operational retention obligations).
  • Opt out of marketing communications at any time.
